Rozita: ‘Datuk K’s son confronted me’

It’s hard to be a male magnet like Rozita Che Wan.

It’s bad enough that the jealous wife of a certain Tan Sri “R” hired gangsters to threaten her, the top Malaysian TV actress – who has been linked by the media to businessman Datuk K (yes, he is pop diva Datuk Siti Nurhaliza’s husband), was in for a surprise recently when Datuk K’s son asked her point-blank if she’s going to marry his dad.

“I don’t know Datuk K personally,” the stunning actress said backstage at the Redfilms 12th anniversary party in White Box, Solaris Dutamas, Kuala Lumpur. “I don’t know his son either. He just walked up to me during a private event and asked me.”

Begging the media and bloggers to stop spreading rumours about her romantic life, Rozita reiterated, “I don’t want to hurt Siti. I’m not interested in married men. ”

Not that she’s shying away from love. Her own broken marriage has taught Rozita to be extra careful with men. “It’s easier to find money than a good man,” the 38-year-old mother of two said.

On her type of man, the “Sesuci Cinta Sofia” star admits to being choosy, saying “I will only date a single man or divorcee with no children, coz I don’t want his kids to fight with me. I like a man who’s nice, flexible and doesn’t have a big ego. It doesn’t matter if he’s rich or not, as long as he has a stable income to support a family.”

But most importantly, the man who wishes to date Rozita must be able to get along with her two boys. “My sons do not set any conditions on the man that I can date – as long as he can make me happy and love them as his own kids.”
